The Shi'ites of Lebanon: Modernism, Communism, and Hizbullah's Islamists (Middle East Studies Beyond Dominant Paradigms)

The complex history of Lebanese Shi‘ites has traditionally been portrayed as rooted in religious and sectarian forces.
